Original 1992 Mark Zuckerberg Baseball Card & NFT

In 1992, an eight year old boy attended Elmwood Camp in Westchester County, New York and dreamed of making it in the big leagues! Weighing in at just 48 lbs, the young infielder notched up a remarkable .920 batting average.

After discussing his future career with his favorite counselor, Allie Tarantino, the aspiring young player was kind enough to gift him a one of a kind baseball card that his mother had made by a local printer. Half-jokingly, Allie asked the young man to sign the card. After nearly 3 decades, Allie never expected to have in his possession, the world’s first and only tech giant rookie card signed by the genius mind behind Meta, Mark Zuckerberg.

As a leading authority on collectibles, it was inevitable that this unique piece of history came into ComicConnect's possession. Our team has worked closely with Allie - waiting for the perfect opportunity to unveil it. We could think of no better way than to take a leap into the world of digital collectibles!

The card and signature are verified by leading experts!

Both the original 1992 card and signature include authentication by industry leading experts including John Reznikoff, President of University Archives and Dave Foreman of SGC.

Auction for the Physical Card & Digital Asset/NFT

We plan to auction the physical 1/1 signed card as well as a unique 1/1 digital version that will be verified on the Ethereum blockchain. The physical auction will be in USD while the digital will be in Ether. The digital asset will also include the original authentication documents as well as several “extras” to help narrate the backstory.

We are very excited about the prospect of digital collectibles. We believe that digital assets can hold just as much value as physical ones while eliminating concerns over quality, proper storage, and authentication.
